If you would like to find out any information or to book an appointment, please contact the Centre. You will be matched to a therapist who will then contact you directly to make an appointment at a time that suits you best. At the initial appointment you will have a chance to meet the therapist, gather information and get an understanding of what to expect. A plan for therapy is then agreed, carried out and reviewed as necessary, with follow-up sessions if required.

It is important to check your policy with your insurance provider to see if your sessions may be covered. Receipts are issued on request at the end of each therapy session.

The therapists on the Mindology Team have different levels of experience and expertise in a wide variety of issues. Check out all their information on this website and feel free to get in touch and ask us any questions. Our team will be happy to match you with the most suitable therapist for you.

At Mindology we place huge emphasis on therapeutic relationship and know how important it is to feel like your therapist is a good fit for you. The therapeutic work happens through this relationship and it is necessary to feel safe and connected to your therapist. If you feel that your therapist is not the right one for one then do not hesitate to get in touch with us and an alternative appointment can be made for you with a different therapist.

The first number of sessions with your therapist will be to get to know you and gather a detailed history of your presenting issues and life experiences. The therapist may have more of an idea following this of how many sessions may be required. There are many factors that determine number of sessions required and this is often on an individual basis. Some clients attend Mindology for a short period of time e.g. six sessions and some attend for many months.

Each therapist is bound by their professional organisation’s ethical rules which include confidentiality and client safety. Confidentiality will be discussed with you at your initial session and any questions will be answered and concerns clarified.

All therapists are qualified and accredited or pre-accredited by their respective accrediting bodies. Low-cost therapists have completed some but not all of their training.

Usually weekly sessions are recommended to begin with and this can then be reviewed with your therapist on an ongoing basis. Often this depends on the individual and the issues being experienced.
