Counsellor & Psychotherapist Adults
Eoin Heneghan is a pre-accredited registered therapist with the IACP, having completed a Master of Science in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, developed in collaboration with Professor John McLeod and the IICP. This degree has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of pluralism. His training focused on an integrative approach to pluralistic counselling and psychotherapy, which considers multiple causes and responses to psychological distress. His pluralistic background enables him to integrate diverse strategies in the therapeutic setting.
Eoin strives to establish a secure, tranquil, and inclusive space in which clients can feel accepted and heard which can help facilitate a trusting and open relationship. He works in a collaborative manner with his clients, where both the client and therapist plan together a strategy utilising a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques that best suit each individual client to enable an improvement in thinking and behaviour.
Eoin is a passionate therapist who brings a unique blend of expertise when working with clients. He works with individuals facing a range of challenges, including grief, loss, bereavement, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family dynamics, trauma, addiction, co-dependency, and inner child work. The principle of embodiment plays a central role in his work with clients.
