B.A. in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
Holly is a pre-accredited member of the IACP with a B.A. in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is continuing her studies in the area of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Holly is also a qualified and experienced educator with a B.Ed (International) in Primary Teaching. Holly works from an integrative perspective grounded in person-centred therapy. She holds the belief that every person can heal and grow in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
As an integrative psychotherapist, Holly draws on psychodynamic theory in her practice, which examines the role that early life experiences play in present day difficulties and suffering. She endeavours to provide a warm, safe, confidential space for clients to uncover, experience and understand the origins of their deep-rooted feelings. She aims to help clients integrate past and present in order to ultimately move towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Holly has a special interest in working with grief, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and eating and body image issues.
