Meet Deirdre O’ Mahony
Deirdre is a fully qualified, pre‑accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She provides a warm, safe, and non‑judgemental therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, understood, and respected.
Deirdre works in a client‑centred, integrative way. This means she places each client’s individual needs and experiences at the centre of the work and draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to support them effectively. Her approach is flexible and tailored, recognising that no two clients are the same.
She works collaboratively with clients, supporting them to explore their experiences, deepen insight, and make meaningful and lasting change. A key focus of her work is helping clients build resilience, self‑understanding, and practical tools they can draw on beyond the therapy space. Alongside her formal training, Deirdre’s rich life experience has strongly shaped her work as a therapist. She is passionate about supporting people to recognise and use their own strengths.
