Meet Arron Daniels
Arron is a therapist with a background in both physical and psychological wellbeing. Before entering psychotherapy, he worked as a personal trainer for over 12 years and competed professionally in MMA as a lifelong martial artist. Through this experience, he developed a strong understanding of discipline, performance, identity, and the psychological challenges that can accompany high achievement- including burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, overtraining, and struggles with self-worth and body image. Over time, Arron became increasingly drawn toward understanding the “inner world” – the emotional patterns, wounds, and unconscious dynamics that shape people’s lives and relationships. This led him to pursue a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and begin working therapeutically with adults.
Arron aims to provide a grounded, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can safely explore whatever they may be carrying, while building greater self-understanding and emotional resilience through the therapeutic relationship.
Alongside his therapeutic work, Arron has a strong academic and personal interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, particularly in the areas of preparation, integration, trauma, meaning-making, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. His perspective is grounded, psychologically informed, and influenced by both emerging research and depth-oriented approaches to healing and human development.
Rather than viewing psychedelic experiences as quick fixes or purely spiritual solutions, Arron understands the importance of safety, integration, therapeutic relationship, and the complexity of the human psyche. While Arron does not provide psychedelic-assisted therapy or facilitation services, he maintains a strong interest in the evolving field from an educational, ethical, and harm-reduction perspective, recognising that psychedelic-assisted therapy is only legally practiced in approved settings abroad.
Areas of Expertise: His approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented, with particular interest in trauma, CPTSD, relational trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, depression, anxiety, and inner-child work.
