Meet Laura Turley, MIACP
With over 20 years’ experience, Laura is a fully accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She supports people from the age of 12 upward and previously lectured in PCI College, where she was Programme Leader for the Professional Certificate in CBT.
Laura is extremely passionate about her work – accompanying people as they make sense of their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Her approach is collaborative, engaging, and interactive, rooted in CBT, whilst drawing from other approaches and always adapted to meet each person where they are. At its heart, Laura’s work focuses on helping people change the relationship they have with themselves, so they can develop an inner support system and, over time, become their own therapist.
Alongside her clinical work, Laura owns and runs Mindology, offering therapy and wellness services for a wide range of needs. Over the years, she developed a particular interest and expertise in OCD, while continuing to work with the full spectrum of human struggles.
Laura lives in Kildare with her four children and believes deeply in the power of connection. Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find her outdoors, staying active, and continually learning – because growth, for Laura, is both personal and professional.
