General Questions
Counselling and psychotherapy are professional forms of support that help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe and confidential space. They provide an opportunity to better understand yourself, work through life’s challenges, and develop strategies to cope with stress, emotional difficulties, or mental health concerns.
While counselling often focuses on specific issues and short-term support, psychotherapy can involve a deeper exploration of long-standing patterns and may be longer-term. Both approaches are guided by trained professionals who work with you to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment tailored to your needs.
Please take a moment to explore our services and therapist profiles. Once you’re ready, you can fill out the Book Appointment form or get in touch with us by email, and a member of our team will be glad to help match you with the therapist best suited to your needs.
Your first appointment is a chance to meet your therapist, talk through what brings you here, and get a clear sense of what to expect. Together, you’ll create a therapy plan that feels right for you, with regular check-ins and adjustments along the way. Follow-up sessions can be arranged as needed to support your ongoing progress.
At Mindology Wellness Centre, our team of therapists and psychologists have extensive experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns. We provide services for adults, adolescents, children, and couples, addressing both mental health difficulties and life challenges.

Our low-cost therapy service is €30 per session. Fees for our pre-accredited therapists, fully accredited therapists, and psychologists range from €60 to €120 per session, depending on their experience, expertise, and areas of specialisation. Please complete our Book Appointment form, and a member of our administrative team will be happy to guide you further on pricing.
Low-cost therapists are senior trainee therapists who are completing their student hours and working toward full qualification.
Pre-accredited therapists are fully qualified but are still in the process of obtaining full accreditation.
Fully accredited therapists are both qualified and fully accredited by their respective professional bodies. Session fees vary depending on the therapist’s experience and areas of expertise.
The length of a session is between 50-55mins.
CBT is a structured, evidence-based form of therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, and learning practical strategies to change them.
CBT is often used to support people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or other mental health challenges. It is usually goal-oriented and time-limited, helping you develop skills you can apply in everyday life to manage difficulties more effectively.
Appointments are available Monday to Saturday between 9am and 9pm, with a limited number of slots also offered on Sundays. Please note that availability may vary depending on the day.
It is important to check with your insurance provider to confirm whether your therapy sessions are covered under your policy. Receipts can be issued on request at the end of each session. Please note that, in order to claim through insurance, your therapist must be a fully accredited member of the IACP.
At Mindology, we place great importance on the therapeutic relationship and understand how essential it is to feel that your therapist is the right fit for you. Meaningful progress in therapy happens through this connection, and it’s important that you feel safe, comfortable, and supported.
If at any stage you feel your therapist may not be the best match, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll be happy to arrange an alternative appointment with another therapist who may be better suited to your needs.
Usually weekly sessions are recommended to begin with and this can then be reviewed with your therapist on an ongoing basis. Often this depends on the individual and the issues being experienced.
In the first few sessions, your therapist will get to know you, explore your experiences, and understand the challenges you’re facing. This helps determine how many sessions may be most helpful. The length of therapy varies for each person - some clients benefit from a short period, while others continue for several months.
Each therapist is bound by their professional organisation’s ethical rules which include confidentiality and client safety. Confidentiality will be discussed with you at your initial session and any questions will be answered and concerns clarified.

If you need to cancel a session, please contact your therapist as soon as possible. Each therapist has their own cancellation policy, which typically requires a minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice. Your therapist will explain their specific policy during your initial session.
If a session is cancelled with less notice than agreed, the standard fee for that session may still apply.
