Vanessa is a humanistic therapist who draws on psychodynamic approaches when working with clients with a history of childhood neglect or trauma to short term approaches such as CBT and mindfulness. She is trauma informed and is aware of the IFS language which she finds particularly useful when working with clients who find themselves triggered in the present by issues that have underlying roots in the past.

She has experience working with a diverse range of clients from varying cultural backgrounds and sexual associations. She endeavours to hold an open, compassionate and non- judgemental space, regardless of her clients presentations, previous experiences or  life decisions.
