Meet Catherine Sheehan, MIACP
Catherine holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. She works with both adults and adolescents and draws on her many years of experience as a pharmacist to bring a holistic approach to care.
Her therapeutic style integrates Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Choice Therapy, as well as mindfulness, art, and exercise-based wellbeing practices. Catherine supports clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship challenges, chronic illness, cancer, and women’s health concerns such as menopause, postnatal depression, and HRT. She also has experience supporting individuals exploring gender identity and transition.
Catherine holds professional certificates in Family Therapy, Anger Management, CBT, Mindfulness, Anorexia & Bulimia Therapy and Art & Play Therapy, along with a Diploma in Drug Counselling, Addiction, and Intervention Skills.
