Meet Gillian Fagan
Gillian is a highly experienced, fully accredited psychotherapist working with adults and couples. Her approach is integrative, collaborative, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, informed by psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy, attachment theory, neuroscience, somatic approaches and EMDR.
She has particular expertise in supporting autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults, including people identified later in life. Gillian works with burnout, masking, identity and self-understanding, rejection sensitivity, overwhelm, emotional-regulation difficulties, relationship challenges and the impact of trauma. She also works extensively with couples, pregnancy, birth and parenting experiences, and offers an LGBTQIA+ and relationship-diversity-affirming space.
Gillian’s style is warm, curious and engaged. She works with clients to make sense of patterns in their experiences, explore how their mind and nervous system respond, and identify approaches that can support meaningful change. Her work is grounded in respect for each client’s values, identity and lived experience.
She welcomes clients who may have had therapy before and understand themselves well, but feel there is still something they have not been able to shift.
