Meet Lorraine Carpenter

Lorraine favours an integrative approach supporting the individuality of her clients so therapy is tailored to suit their specific needs. 

Lorraine offers a combination of Person Centred & Existential Therapy and utilises CBT techniques to help her clients reframe their self-view and their life experiences. Influenced by Jungian Psychology, she is mindful that we function through thoughts, feelings, sensations and intuition in our pursuit of wholeness and balance.

Lorraine endeavours to support her clients struggling with a range of issues such as self-identity, anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies and general life challenges. She has trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention with a view to modifying maladaptive behaviours & teaching new coping skills.

Areas of Practice: Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Relationship with Self
