Meet Margo Grudzien
Margo has more than fifteen years of experience in providing a wide range of psychological services and support to individuals who are experiencing various psychological and behavioural challenges. She is working with children, adolescents and adults. She is conducting screening, assessments and intervention based on diagnosis and formulation of the presenting needs, with a wide use of psychometrics. She delivers psychology services to individuals with anxiety and depression, behavioural and personality issues, addictions, as well as social and interpersonal difficulties. She is providing full assessments in the area of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, cognitive, psychopathology, forensic and trauma associated conditions.
In her practice Margo uses eclectic approach combining many schools and styles, tailoring therapy to client’s needs: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Psychodynamic Therapy; Schema Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); with combination of suggestive therapies, like Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness; to address issues which originate in childhood, as well as painful losses and situations which require more strength than one can bear alone.
Margo is experienced Expert Witness in the area of family, criminal (forensic) and personal injuries, medical negligence, law proceedings. She has also research experience, mainly with longitude GEMMA Project run by ICAN at NUIG concentrating on early ASD assessment of children in families with ASD history.
