Meet Patrick O’Hanlon
Patrick is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults. He offers a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences at their own pace.
At the heart of Patrick’s work is a strong belief in the importance of human connection and the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change. His approach is grounded in humanistic and person-centred therapy, with a strong interest in psychodynamic work and existential therapy, particularly around themes of meaning, identity, choice, and life transitions.
Before training as a therapist, Patrick spent many years working in high-pressure professional environments. This experience informs his understanding of stress, burnout, self-criticism, and the emotional impact of demanding work and life circumstances.
Patrick works under professional supervision in line with IACP guidelines.
