Meet Tom Proctor
Tom is a pre-accredited psychotherapist who works from an integrative, traumainformed, and pluralistic approach. He believes that every person is unique, and that therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular therapeutic model.
Tom strives to create a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. He has experience supporting adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, and neurodiversity. Clients can expect a genuine, compassionate and down-to-earth therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect.
Outside of the therapy room, Tom enjoys creating mental health content on social media, under the handle TalkWithTom, where he is passionate about making conversations around emotional wellbeing more accessible and helping to reduce the stigma surrounding therapy.

Favourite Quote: “In most of our lives, most of the time, you have a sense of what is to come. There is a steady narrative, a feeling of “lights, camera, action” when big events are imminent. But trauma isn’t like that. It just happens, and then life goes on. No one prepares you for it.” – Jessica Stern
